JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adjust and Control the process parameters file, keeping it updated.

• Develop injection mold process for new mold.

• Ensure that the injection process applied are according to documentation.

• Manage maintenance request forms with suppliers.

• Keep the department clean and organized. • Maintain minimum stock of all department equipment and tools.

• Interpret assembly drawings and mold projects.

• Monitor Try-out and construction of outsourced molds.

• Participate in FMEA and PPAP.

• Develop control methods.

• Plan the control plan.

• Validate production parts.

• Keep the peripherals department organized.

• Record mold and die maintenance on forms.

• Keep all department documentation up-to-date.

• Maintain the logbook updated.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Completed high school education. • Technical course in plastics. • Understanding of Injection Molding processes. • Knowledge in the exchange of injection molds. • Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. • Knowledge of area norms and procedures, including safety regulations. • Experience with the preparation routine of injection machines and assembly lines. • Injection Machine Parameterization. • Motor skills. • Visual acuity. • Interpersonal relationships. • Communication skills. • Precision. • Systematic and accurate. • Reliability.

Physical Requirements:

-Abilit to lift 50 pounds on an occasion

-Stand and sit for extended periods of time

-Ability to visually detect product defects with magnifying glass.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.03 per hour
